Our Approach

Our Accredited Social Worker & Sex Therapist Tara is committed to working from a trauma-informed approach, a social justice framework and an intersectional (queer and trans inclusive) feminist lens. They believe in the value of your voice and your autonomy, and are here to walk alongside you on your journey. They pride themselves on engaging with evidence-based and neurodivergent-affirming therapeutic modalities to support your in achieving your goals.

Tara has lived experience of being an Autistic ADHD'er, queer and non-binary. They will show up as 'unmasked' during their sessions with you, and will make sure to allow for any accommodations you may need (eg. sensory adjustments, alternative forms of communication, taking breaks).

G, Social Worker

The training was fantastic! Tara, the way you talk about bodies, sex, and transition was incredibly affirming and accessible for me. I really appreciate your inclusive language, and the way information was presented in different ways. Your passion about these topics shines through.

S, Clinical Educator

Fantastic training.

Tara did an incredible job of providing an informative, sex-positive, pleasure-focused, trauma-informed and very comprehensive presentation around trans sexual health. Tara is a wonderful presenter--they are absolutely brilliant and so incredibly comfortable navigating discussions around sex and sexuality.
